Erik Seidel poker player profile
Erik Seidel is a professional poker player famed for his high stakes no limit games. Seidel started off as a professional backgammon player player, who turned to playing the stock market before finally turning his attention to poker. In his first major poker tournament, the 1998 WSOP Main Event, Seidel finished second to poker legend Jonny Chan.
Seidel boasts career poker earnings in excess of $6.5 million, alongside seven WSOP bracelets. Seidel’s latest big poker earnings came in the 2007 Aussie Millions tournament where he finished 2 nd to Gus Hansen.
Seidel is currently playing high-stakes poker in Las Vegas along with playing the bigger buy-in events on the WPT circuit. He is also a Full Tilt pro where he plays in the bigger online poker tournaments.
